Jonah Solomon is a representative of the Chibok IDPs in Lagos. This position has given him an understanding of the needs and the challenges faced by displaced persons. His determination to create opportunities for other IDPs and refugees is evident in his commitment to his role as Director of Refugee Welfare for Refuge Foundation. He enjoys counselling and is drawn to activities that contribute to his spiritual growth. He is married with 4 children.
Belinda’s two decades of professional experience in grant management, networking, project management, youth empowerment, volunteer management, counselling, public relations and training has shaped her career and perspectives. She is charged with creating awareness and promoting the mission of the organization. She describes herself as an analytical thinker who enjoys political discourse; but her best moments are when she spends time with nature, writing poetry, singing, travelling, reading, meeting people and volunteering for worthy causes.
She has over 20 years experience as a lawyer in the Nigerian legal system and is currently a Magistrate in Katsina State. She is fiery in her quest for justice and enjoys putting her conflict resolution skills to use. She enjoys reading and helping less privileged members of the society. She can also be found spending time in nature and is a keen plant collector.
Princess brings her wealth of skills in human resources, business development and administration to Refuge Foundation. She initiates, cultivates and develops relationships with existing and potential donors; and raises funds for projects and the development of the organization. She enjoys travelling, meeting people and mentoring the next generation of professionals. She believes that everyone has a part to play in making our society better.
