Yakubu is one of our beneficiaries. He is being sponsored by Refuge Foundation to study at Marie Balavenne's Catholic College in Ilogbo, Ogun State. He recently resumed at the school. These are pictures of his resumption and after he had settled down.

We attended Parents' day and interacted with another one of our beneficiaries, Teni, at the Lagoon Institute of Hospitality, Lagos. During her final exam practical session, she presented a chocolate swiss roll she made.

During this August Summer Camp at the Malaysian Gardens at Abuja FCT, teenage volunteers tutored Primary 5 and 6 kids resident in the Settlement. One of our volunteers, Isabel mentored Fatima, an IDP kid who is being sponsored by Refuge Foundation.

Goodkydz Foundation, an NGO focusing on character formation in kids using drama, music and dance, organised a one day event for IDP kids in the Ketu area of Lagos State. Refuge Foundation volunteers were responsible for coordinating the IDP kids whilst Goodkydz Foundation handled presentation

The relocation was done in October 2024. Refuge Foundation went to pay her a visit.
